Declutter Me (IOM) is a decluttering and organising service operating across the Island and ran by Cheryl. Rather than using amenity sites, Cheryl either takes decluttered items to charity shops or collection points, for things like used spectacles, to give items a second life. Materials such as bubble wrap are also reused, either within the business or donates the materials to charity shops.
Declutter Me (IOM) has a dedicated Facebook page which Cheryl uses to not only promote her business but also to share different charity posts when they are looking for certain items as well as promoting second-hand shopping and tips for living a more sustainable life, such has how to buy more sustainable Christmas presents. She also intends to use these channels to get people to donate more unwanted items.
To cut down on consumption, Cheryl tries to organise her work so that jobs are located in a similar area. She also stores donated items and does bulk drop offs to also avoid unnecessary journeys.
