Calling all Isle of Man businesses.

Calling all Isle of Man businesses.

UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man’s placement student for this year, Emma Sayle, is rolling out a questionnaire to businesses on the Isle of Man as part of her research into designing a Toolkit to assist businesses on the Isle of Man adopt more sustainable practices.

Emma is studying towards a Masters Degree in Business Sustainability at University College Isle of Man and the toolkit will form a large proportion of her final piece of work.

The toolkit links in with the Economy, Education and Engagement headings of our UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man vision and strategy, Working Together for a Sustainable Future.

It complements existing work such as the Sustainable Mann pilot workshop series for businesses running now.

Emma said: ‘Businesses in our Biosphere understand the challenges our planet faces and want to be part of the solution by adopting sustainable practices. We hope our toolkit will better connect them with the information and resources they need to take actions.’

The short questionnaire will take approximately four minutes to complete and responses will be collated and used to make an informed decision about what content should be included in the toolkit so that it is relevant and useful to businesses of all sizes and types.

If you are willing to take part, please complete the questionnaire by 12th November 2021.
