Sight Matters looks after the interests of around 500 blind and visually impaired people on the Isle of Man.
It works with many people, charities, organisations and businesses to offer volunteering opportunities across a wide range of areas, to promote good practice when dealing with blind and visually impaired people.
Its community engagement programme enhances the awareness of Sight Matters and visual impairment to all groups in the Island.
Sight Matters has also recently opened The Freedom Field, an area of land to enhance interaction between its members and nature. It has been developed to ensure wildlife and the existing flora thrive. This will benefit not only its members but also community stakeholders.
