Gymnasium Football Club is a Manx football team from Douglas that started up back in 1886.
The club is going strong despite challenges over the years and are based at Tromode. The club are happy to share their space with local wildlife – at their ground there is an open field of grass with rabbits, hares, peacocks and grouse roaming the land.
Gymnasium FC wish to implement pollinator patches at their pitch sides consisting of wildflowers for bees, butterflies, birds and other pollinators to boost biodiversity and protect our natural resources by sharing the space with the natural world.
Gymnasium FC are community driven and engage with the cricket team and University College Isle of Man.
