Pushologies are a technology company in the Isle of Man who have built a service around pushing content, automating content creations and simplifying user experiences.

Pushologies separate waste in their office to enabling recycling where possible, thus protecting our natural resources. Staff have also been given company-branded water bottles to encourage reduction of single-use plastic consumption. Instant hot water taps are installed ensuring the exact amount of boiling water is used, preventing water waste and promoting energy efficiency. Private offices and meeting rooms within the Pushologies building have motion sensor light, reducing electrical emissions. During the TT fortnight, staff are encouraged to work from home which further reduces travel emissions.

As far as possible, Pushologies is a paperless office and when printing is required, it is encouraged to be double sided.

Pushologies is committed to fostering sustainable economic growth with environmental preservation and social well-being. Where possible Pushologies Procurement Policy supports local businesses, for example the office uses locally sourced drinking water from Green Mann Springs in St John’s.

Pushologies encourages and supports employees to participate in (up to 2 days per annum) activities across the Island, including community care work, environmental and conservation projects, fundraising for community projects or charities, and the administration of public events.

Pushologies has partnered with EyeSea, a not-for-profit organisation with a mission to map global pollution and maritime hazards. Through this partnership, Pushologies will work with EyeSea to deliver personalised and interactive in-app experiences that promote awareness and encourage action around issues affecting our oceans including plastic pollution, overfishing and climate change and will ultimately make a positive environmental impact.

It is hoped that in the future Pushologies will be able to collaborate with local technology-based clubs and forums and UCM in order to attract suitable interns/candidates to join the Pushologies family.
