Neon Solutions are a local service provider to the iGaming industry.
Neon separate and measure waste at source within their office. Batteries, glass, paper and aluminium is recycled and general waste goes to the energy from waste plant. Surplus furniture and office fixtures are reused as well as building waste from projects and office refurbishments, if possible, otherwise it is separated in skips for recycling.
Regular planned preventative maintenance on heating ventilation and cooling systems ensures efficiency and prevents F-gas leaks within the Neon office. EV and ebike charging points are installed, as well as bike racks to encourage cycling. Staff benefit incentives are in action to encourage active or public transport in a bid to reduce emissions. Cutlery and packaging in staff kitchens are re-usable, and all new starters are provided with reusable bottles. Boiling water taps are installed and filtered water taps encourage bottle refills.
Neon have an Environmental Management System and associated policy and procedures which encourage staff and contractors to ‘reduce, reuse, and recycle’. Energy and waste are monitored regularly with views to reduce this in line with the customer’s ISO 14001 accreditation requirements.
Neon favours partnerships with local suppliers and vendors to prioritise sustainability in all operations where possible and have recently recruited a local ESG Officer to develop a strategy for the company. As a growing business, there are career opportunities within the company that will position Neon as an Isle of Man employer of choice, contributing sustainably to the Manx economy.
Neon ensure they get involved with the local community, supporting many local events and charities, like doing volunteer work for Manx charity Mencap and beach cleans with Beach Buddies. Neon are working to install an employee volunteering programme, where time will be granted for staff to contribute to activities that will benefit the Island.
Neon encourage staff to engage in nature through internal initiatives. They held a walking challenge in April, and are involved with the Calf of Man Puffin Project through PlayItForward. In addition, Neon host a portfolio of inspiring speakers in the office, including recycling experts and Biosphere officers to motivate staff.
