MMC is a boutique content and communications agency.

The company has significantly reduced paper and plastic usage; is committed to increasing recycling; and has introduced workplace protocols to ensure electronic devices are switched off when not in use. MMC’s team also have the option to work from home, thus reducing carbon emissions from travel, and active travel is used where possible. In 2023 MMC became a PlasticBusters Ambassador.

MMC promote many sustainability initiatives that are supported by their clients, such as Zurich on the Isle of Man, a fellow Biosphere Partner. The Energy & Sustainability Centre (ESC) is another client – it’s a Manx-registered charity helping the Island to achieve its net-zero goals. MMC’s core team all live and work in the Island and are proud of its cultural heritage and are aware of the importance of promoting and protecting it. 

Outside of the office the team make a positive environmental impact by recycling, reducing waste and supporting local charities. MMC's founder and MD, Craig Wolstencroft, has switched to an electric vehicle. 

Through communication work for clients the agency regularly engages with the local community via news and social media. This includes positive, educational content about all aspects of sustainability, particularly renewable energy. A recent example is a collaboration with Media Isle of Man which resulted in the creation of the IOM Today environment tab as part of their work for ESC.

MMC is also working with the global renewable energy business, Ørsted, and is providing essential support for the company’s Isle of Man wind farm project.
