We have ambitions to become the leading sustainable investment provider on the island, we work closely with private, trust and institutional clients to provide portfolios that are aligned to their sustainability preferences.
Ravenscroft have an active ESG committee that is focused on reducing the environmental impact of their business. As a group that covers the 3 Crown Dependencies, the carbon footprint from travel between offices is a significant percentage of overall emissions. This is being reduced through more sustainable travel, via boat and train rather than flying and the company often opt for virtual meetings to minimise unnecessary travel.
The most positive sustainable impact Ravenscroft have is through encouraging investment into portfolios that focus on environmental solutions. As a nation of wealthy individuals it is within our power to invest in a way that addresses the climate and biodiversity crisis, in doing so we can help to generate sustainable prosperity for future generations.
Ravenscroft are supporters of the Arts through their sponsorship of the Parados Theatre Company and they raised significant funds for Manx Wildlife Trust during 2023 with a focus on supporting the Upland Peatland Restoration Project.
The biggest positive environmental impact Ravenscroft IOM has is through their initiative to set aside 10% of their Global Solutions portfolio management fees for conservation.
Within the Manx business community, Ravenscroft are vocal advocates for sustainable investment working with the IOD, STEP and Chamber of commerce to encourage sustainable business practices.
