Manx Tri Club proudly champions sustainability, community engagement, and cultural heritage in every event it delivers.

The club promotes eco-conscious practices by minimising single-use plastics, using compostable cups, and encouraging the return of swim hats for reuse. Members also participate in the annual Mooragh Lake clean-up, demonstrating their commitment to protecting local training environments.

By partnering with local cafes, bike shops, and sports vendors, the club boosts the Isle of Man’s economy. Its events attract athletes and spectators from the UK, many of whom return annually, supporting both tourism and on-island spending.

Manx Tri Club collaborates with local artists and designers, and plans to showcase iconic Manx landmarks and trails in future promotional content, celebrating the island’s unique cultural identity.

Environmental sustainability is at the heart of the club’s operations, with a strong focus on reducing waste and encouraging active travel such as cycling to work during training seasons.

The club offers inclusive events, beginner workshops, and a popular junior triathlon, with a second under-16 event launching in summer 2025 to inspire the next generation of athletes.

As an advocate of UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man, Manx Tri Club promotes responsible enjoyment of the island’s exceptional landscapes while working to protect them for future generations.
