Breeze Candles produces handmade candles and diffusers, offering a local alternative to buying fragranced products from off the Island.
Established in 2016, the company is constantly looking for more sustainable methods of production and operation.
Breeze Candles uses local suppliers and fellow businesses wherever possible, for services such as printing, wooden gift tag production, graphic design and artwork. Artwork for two of the most recent packaging designs was specifically commissioned from local artists, Colette Davies Fine Art and Pigs Loves To Paint.
Products reflect the culture and folklore of the Island, with ranges such as 'On Manx Shores', 'In Manx Meadows' 'The Manx Toast', and 'Spirit of the Races', a nod to the Island's motorsport heritage.
Despite being only a small business, Breeze Candles offers considerable support to local charities, giving back to the community as much as possible. Recipients of charitable contributions include Relay for Life Isle of Man, Manx SPCA, Hospice Isle of Man, and Give a Gift Isle of Man.
In 2022, Breeze Candles was awarded the Sustainable Mann accreditation having successfully completed a series of workshops on sustainability for businesses, run by UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man.
