Blossom Broadbean is a small scale grower of seasonal cut flowers who wish to promote the importance of locally grown products and soil health.
Blossom Broadbean do not use chemicals when growing and any soil improvers are entirely natural. This provides a safe haven for pollinators and ensures the surrounding environment is not adversely affected.
Blossom Broadbean adds to the economy in a sustainable way through promoting the sale of locally grown cut flowers and developing a ‘cut-flower-collective’ alongside other Manx growers.
Blossom Broadbean hope to conduct further community initiatives that aim to create circular methods around growing, food and waste, such as the need to explore composting as a wider initiative, with hopes to engage with the business and wider community in the Island.
The business want to make the community aware of the rich resources we have accessible at our fingertips.
