Affinity Group are a Corporate Services Provider with offices in the Isle of Man, Malta and Cayman Islands, who in recent years have made a conscious effort toward their corporate social responsibilities.
Affinity have made changes in the office that help to protect our natural resources. They have replaced spent bulbs with energy efficient ones and supplied their team with reusable water bottles to reduce single-use waste consumption within the office environment.
Affinity utilise local suppliers where possible and in doing so are supporting the local economy. They are adopting a more sustainable approach to their day-to-day operations and are migrating toward a paperless office.
Affinity have partnered with fellow Biosphere Partner Beach Buddies, to complete a beach clean every quarter at different locations in the Island. They are also sponsoring four of the Beach Buddies bins, which are stationed near to beaches for the public to use if they find waste when out walking.
Affinity engage with the local community in many ways. They volunteered at Curragh’s Wildlife Park and built new paths for the Park. They volunteered at 2022’s Parish Walk by sponsoring a Feed Station and supporting walkers at the event, of which some employees took part. The group will do the same in 2023.
Affinity employees have taken part in annual charity events such as the Children’s Centre Rounder's Tournament and have done various fund raising activities to donate money to Hospice Isle of Man, including staff members running The London Marathon.
