Betty Laurincova, who is an architect, urban designer and a Business Partner of Biosphere Isle of Man, is offering two exciting new courses in specialist 3D design software this winter.

Betty Laurincova was one of the architects behind the community Biosphere Shelter at Conrhenny, which you can read about here.

Betty has decided to share her expert knowledge in 3D design through a software that she uses for her own work to help others and encourage creativity in our Biosphere.

The software she will be providing training in is called Sketchup and there is a Basic version which is free, and a Pro version that is licenced and paid for annually.

Betty will be teaching at UCM and the basic course is on for one week on 8th November 2023. More details including cost and enrolment can be found here.

The Sketchup Pro course is running for 4 weeks from 21st November 2023, every Tuesday from 6pm. More details including cost and enrolment can be found here.

The courses aim to give individuals and businesses the training required to be able to use the free software and to decide whether they wish to invest in the paid version, for their business or personal needs.
