'Conservation in Dublin Bay'

You are invited to a webinar, 'Conservation in Dublin Bay'.

28th October 2021

You are invited to a webinar, 'Conservation in Dublin Bay'.

The event, hosted by Dublin Bay Biosphere, takes place on Zoom from 12 noon to 1.30pm on Thursday 28th October.

Lorraine Bull of Dublin City Council, Anne Murray of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council and Hans Visser of  Fingal County Council will share their passion for our natural heritage. We will discover the importance of research and how their findings influence our decision-making. We will learn about ongoing conservation programmes, including the Arctic Tern programme in Dalkey Island, the Irish goat programme in Howth and the Dublin Swift Project.

We will also discover how each of us can support wildlife at home and in our local communities.

The webinar is part of a year long tri-Biosphere webinar series between the Isle of Man, Dublin Bay and Kerry Biospheres celebrating the 50th anniversary of the UNESCO Man and the Biosphere Programme globally.

The webinars explore areas of mutual interest and it has been a fascinating series so far.
