SOLO Eco-conscious Food is a processed food business with sustainability at heart. The business protects our natural resources as it is plastic free and so does not buy in to or utilise finite resources. The packaging of products is reusable and made from recycled materials where possible. Free deliveries are carried out on a bike in the Douglas area, so no CO2 is emitted from the delivery service. Customers outside of the Douglas area are encouraged to buy SOLO food products from their nearest shop.
SOLO Eco-conscious Food is developing our economy in a sustainable way by sourcing local ingredients where possible, selling products in local retailers and appearing at local food markets, adding to a more desirable circular economy.
The company also hopes to support and promote our cultural heritage through attending cultural events like Tynwald day and sourcing ingredients from local farmers where possible.
SOLO Eco-conscious Food has a no waste policy and reuse and recycle wherever possible in the business to make a positive environmental impact. The company engages with the Manx community by supporting local charities where possible, attending artisan markets and local events with their products.
