Manx Whale and Dolphin Watch is dedicated to the conservation of whales, dolphins, porpoises and basking sharks in Manx waters through research and education.
We conduct land and boat-based scientific surveys to estimate relative abundance and distribution of these species.
We engage with the local community through public awareness events, school visits and production of literature. We also run a Visitor Centre in Peel, popular with tourists and locals.
All public sightings are collated on our website and contribute to our long term data-set which has been running since 2006.
