Manx Adventure and Expo is an inclusive club for outdoor enthusiasts on the Isle of Man, offering activities such as hiking, climbing, kayaking, paddleboarding, coasteering, orienteering, rock pooling, and camping. Activities are carefully managed to protect wildlife and habitats, with seasonal timing and participant limits designed to minimise disturbance to fish populations, breeding birds, and sensitive ecosystems. Members are encouraged to engage in responsible wildlife watching, use footpaths to reduce landscape impact, and participate in litter picks to keep natural areas pristine.
The club also promotes the Isle of Man’s cultural and natural heritage. Walks and excursions highlight local flora, fauna, folklore, and historical landmarks, including tholtans, stone circles, and mines. Members take part in traditional Manx events such as Cammag, Viking Longboat Races, and Tin Bath Races, while also supporting local charities through activities like Race the Sun.
Investment in educational equipment - including binoculars, bug pots, bat detectors, and wildlife ID charts - helps increase knowledge and awareness of the Island’s ecosystems.
