Liberal Vannin are a political party based on the Isle of Man.
Liberal Vannin campaign in a number of areas to ensure that development on the Island is done sustainably. This includes campaigning to ensure that development plans on the Island have full environmental impact assessments, are openly scrutinised and that sustainable mitigation measures are put in place, where development has been approved.
Liberal Vannin also campaign for all economic development to be sustainable and demonstrate how this will meet the Island’s climate change and biodiversity targets. Alongside this, Liberal Vannin also campaigns for the sustainable preservation of the Island’s cultural heritage.
Engagement with the community forms a key part of Liberal Vannin’s election campaigns. They also engage with the community through Government consultations, through their MHK in Tynwald and hold public meetings on issues such as area and housing plans, the annual budget, etc.
Liberal Vannin are also members of the Island’s Climate Change Coalition.
