Lloyds Bank International is part of Lloyds Bank, serving millions of customers worldwide, including UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man. It is their role to help businesses and individuals, while making a positive contribution to the communities in which they operate. Lloyds Bank recognises that climate change is one of the biggest issues facing society and have pledged to tackle the issue. These pledges are tailored to suit the local needs of the communities they operate within.

Lloyds Bank International have recently opened a new office in the Isle of Man which benefits from Smart LED lighting, installed with timers and motion detectors. Carbon emissions is also measured as part of their property management system which considers electricity, heating and water consumption by property size.

Lloyds Bank International have a robust colleague engagement programme supported by leadership to educate colleagues on best practice for carbon emission reductions at home and at work. Recycling points are made accessible and can be easily identified by colleagues throughout the building. The company also has an electric car fleet.

Lloyds Bank International supporters are of the Wildlife Trust, and their contribution is a key factor in the progression of their educational programmes. They have also organised opportunities for colleagues to get involved with activities such as beach cleaning with Beach Buddies, and tree planting with the Woodland Trust.

Lloyds Bank International participate in local events on the Isle of Man, such as the Royal Show, sharing tent space with local charities such as Isle Listen and Manx Wildlife Trust. Their colleagues are also involved with a diverse range of local charities, volunteering time and/or fundraising.

Through the Black Horse brand, Lloyds Bank International have made available their first Green Finance product for commercial customers in the Island.
