Idea Hat in St Paul's Square, Ramsey, is an art gallery (mainly fine art world wildlife photography), community experience and entertainment space and Isle of Man agent for circular economy products by Krill Design.
The gallery has one wall dedicated to local artists on a rotational basis for a fixed fee per month with sales of those works being commission free. The world wildlife photography by Philippe Ricordel are artistically striking conversation pieces that highlight the need to protect.
Krill Design is a trail-blazer in the circular economy ethos making planet friendly products by transforming food waste, creating lamps made from fruit peel and smart phone holders made from used coffee grains. Krill Design is part of the BeCorp Net Zero 2030 Collective as well as having won a host of awards.
In the experience and entertainment space, Idea Hat offers refreshments with regular screenings of world wildlife up-close films by Philippe Ricordel at advertised times. The Wildlife of Antarctica is currently on show for Autumn/Winter 2022/23.
Idea Hat also offers a free book exchange, prolonging the life of books.
