Felicity Wood Designs is a local illustrator and designer who sells various products featuring Manx designs.
Felicity Wood Designs hopes to become a plastic free business. So far, Felicity has removed the plastic cellophane from greetings cards, replacing them with a card catcher. She reuses packaging where possible and when posting out products, fixing them with a sticker to inform the recipient that her goal is to reuse, reduce and recycle where possible.
Through Felicity Wood Designs our Island's unique heritage and language is shared. Felicity’s greetings cards, which have been available for the past four years, feature the Manx language and Felicity uses a Manx word that is hidden on all of her packaging, such a belly bands for tea towels and boxes for mugs.
Felicity Wood Designs feature a range of products that celebrate Manx names and these are available in multiple outlets and Manx National Heritage shops. They prove to be very popular with tourists in the visitor season and promotes our culture and heritage.
Each year and for many years, Felicity Wood Designs create and gift the artwork for Crossroads Carers annual calendars. It shares Manx knowledge with its recipient, whether it be a Manx saying, Manx Customs, place names etc. The calendar has raised several thousand pounds for the charity.
