The Energy and Sustainability Centre Isle of Man also provides objective advice to businesses, organizations and individuals on affordable options to improve the environmental impact of commercial and non-commercial activities.  The Centre also delivers talks, workshops and courses. Their website has a knowledge hub which contains information and downloadable documents on a topics related to climate change and sustainability.

The Energy and Sustainability Centre Isle of Man stresses the importance of the Manx pioneering spirit, using examples such as the Manx Electrical Railway and the Laxey Wheel to demonstrate how entrepreneurs used innovation to further the prosperity of the Island, something which can happen again if the right approach is taken with the energy transition.
