UBIOM Champion sought

We invite proposals for the delivery of UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man communications and co-ordination support for a period of 18 months (with the possibility of extension), starting as soon as possible.
It has been acknowledged that now the Isle of Man has this prestigious accolade, there is great potential to develop diverse opportunities to use the UNESCO Biosphere status to raise local and international awareness of the Isle of Man as a special place to live,work and visit.
The contractor will act as UBIOM's champion and ensure that benefits associated with the Isle of Man's recognition by UNESCO are identified and delivered.

Key roles include

• Drafting and agreeing a communications plan for UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man (in conjunction with DEFA, UBIOM Stakeholder Partnership Group and the Corporate Communications Service, Cabinet Office).

• Champion UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man both on and off Island, to raise the awareness and impact of the status and maximise the results for the community, economy and environment.

• Based on the UBIOM Logo Usage Criteria, development (in partnership with the Thematic Group) of a clear scheme for the use of the UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man logo by businesses, organisations and events and successful implementation of this scheme.
