Biosphere Isle of Man and NetZero Isle of Man are proud to have joined forces as partners for the Sustainability category of Gef’s 30 Under 30 Awards!
Launched in 2023, Gef’s 30 Under 30 aims to celebrate, empower, and recognise the impressive achievements of 30 people under the age of 30 who are making strides in the Manx Biosphere.
Three winners are selected in each of ten categories: Achievement, Collaboration, Community Impact, Creativity, Disrupters, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Leadership, Sustainability, and Trailblazers.
UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man and NetZero Isle of Man are partners for the Sustainability category, with three brilliant winners – Katie Wilson, Sarah Mercer, and our very own Emma Sayle, who was nominated for her work developing Biosphere’s Sustainable Mann toolkit (and which she is currently updating – watch this space!).
They are the personification of ‘Working Together for a Sustainable Future’, truly making meaningful change for the benefit of our Island Biosphere, and everyone and everything in it.
There’ll be coverage on each of the award winners throughout the summer, and on the partners – so keep an eye on Gef’s channels!
Young people are the future of our Biosphere nation, but the 30 Under 30 winners are making change right now, and we can’t wait to see what they do next.
