LEGG Surfacing Limited are surface treatment specialists providing alternative methods of preventative maintenance for public roads and footpaths, including the private sector, on the Isle of Man.
The methods that LEGG Surfacing Limited use reduce embedded carbon emissions by 100% and reduce carbon emissions by 93%. There is no excavation, no tarmac and no heavy haulage with diesel rollers within their processes. Unless there is structural damage, LEGG Surfacing Limited’s maintenance programme means that there is no need to conventionally resurface which protects the Island’s mineral resources.
LEGG Surfacing Limited are a low waste company and any waste they do generate they recycle. They are heading towards a carbon neutral future and aim to be carbon neutral by 2026.
A few of LEGG Surfacing Limited’s employees took part in this year’s Parish Walk and will have stands at a few local events in the coming year highlighting the benefits of what they do and how we should progress as a community.
