The next FWAG talk is to be held at Kirk Michael Football club, off Balleira Road, (opposite the Baltic road) on Tuesday evening 18th November at 7.30pm with a double bill by John 'Dog' Callister
• Firstly he will give a talk about Wallabies in the Ballaugh Curragh and how they have naturalised, adapting to the wetland habitat of the Island and are gradually spreading elsewhere in the Island and will also invite questions on this topic. Does the spread of a non-native species within the Island pose any threat to other wildlife, the countryside or to Manx agriculture?
• Refreshment break, tea.coffee & the bar will also be open
• Secondly John will give a presentation about the work of the "Pahar Trust" in Nepal where funds raised for the Trust on the Isle of Man have helped provide a new school - Paunch Krishna, in far east Nepal. John will have a few items for sale after his talk and donations will be gratefully received towards the work of the Paha Trust.
• FWAG calendars will also be available for sale £5 each - proceeds to the Agricultural Benevolent Trust, Manx Wildlife Trust and Manx Birdlife.
John will have some items for sale and there will be the opportunity to make a donation, if desired, to the work of the Pahar Trust
