Food and Drink Festival
You'll be able to meet local food producers and try everything from Manx cheeses, fresh seafood, hand crafted confectionery, Manx meat and even locally brewed alcohol.
Each year the Festival welcomes a distinguished chef with a passion for local produce who provides cookery demonstrations in the Manx Food Theatre on both days. This year we are delighted to have award-winning Manx chef Colin Clague join us all the way from Dubai.
What's more, James Stubbs from The Courthouse and Jean-Pierre Giuliani from Jean-Pierre's Bistro will battle it out for the title of Isle of Man Chef of the Year, while Nicole Crawley and Dominik Woloszyk will compete to win the Isle of Man Student Chef of the Year Competition.
The WI will be giving cake demonstrations in celebration of their 100th Anniversary and Dot Tilbury will compere a Ready Steady Cook between L'Experience and McFarlane's.
There will be eateries located around the festival – all of which serve Manx produce – as well as the opportunity to watch cows being milked, to learn more about our unique Manx bees and to pet the goats and calves.
Saturday evening will have street food, drinks at the CAMRA bar and live music from The Fecktones.
Tickets may be purchased in advance from the Welcome Centre, online from the Villa Marina's box office or at the door. Single Day Adult Tickets are £3 and Weekend Passes are £5. Children 16 and under have free admission.
